William Beckett Joins Equal Vision Family

William Beckett

William Beckett, the former frontman for The Academy Is…has officially signed to Equal Vision Records. The record label is currently home to bands such as Say Anything, Chiodos and Eisley. Since the separation of this band, Beckett has been working on a lot of new music, continuously releasing new tracks on line and giving fans a taste of what a full length album would sound like.

Now with this new record label as his home, Beckett has announced that he is currently working on his full length album with producer, Marc McClusky who has worked with Weezer and Ludo.

Beckett released the following statement about his signing to the label (or you can watch it below):

“Regarding the signing, Beckett had the following to say: “I’ve been a fan of EVR and its roster since I was listening to The Stryder and Saves the Day in high school. For months I was approached by labels but after the first conversation I knew EVR was a perfect fit; I can make exactly the record I want to make.”
