Fans of The Strokes rallied last month when they heard that there would be new music from the band during the upcoming month. After the release of their first single, “One Way Trigger,” there was a lot of speculation whether or not the new album would sound like the band, at all. After their recent single hit the inter-web, their worries were put to rest when “All the Time” was released.
Any hopes though of a full tour from the band in support of their new album, Comedown Machine, have been put to rest by bassist, Nikolai Fraiture. In a recent interview with DJ Zane Lowe from BBC Radio 1, he was asked if there would be any touring in support of the album. Fraiture responded with, “I don’t know. I would love to tour” and admitted that there weren’t any tour dates scheduled at the moment for them.
The Strokes’ new album, Comedown Machine, comes out on March 26, but until then you can head on over to their Soundcloud and listen to the first two singles from it.
