A few weeks back, rumors started circulating that Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z would be heading out on tour together for a massive tour. Turns out that the rumors were not exaggerated in the least because it was announced last week that the two music giants would be heading out on “Legends of Summer” tour.
The “Legends of Summer” tour will be a 12-day stadium tour which kicks off in Toronto on July 17 and will end in Miami on Aug. 26. Cities that should expect a visit from the two include, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston.
Rumor first started to surface about a potential tour after Timberlake had been asked if he and Jay-Z would ever consider going on a tour together. Timberlake replied with a “maybe” and that “things were still being discussed.” A week after that was said on the Grammys’ red carpet, the duo had been confirmed to perform at London’s two-day Wireless Festival (on different days). Now England won’t be the only one’s getting some Justin/Jay-Z performance love.
Timberlake’s new album, The 20/20 Experience, will be released on March 19, giving fans enough time to get their “Suit and Tie” ready for the summer tour.
