David Bowie to Head Out on Tour?

David Bowie

David Bowie’s 2013 is already looking like a good year for the musician. First he releases a new single on his birthday in January. Then he premieres a music video featuring actress Tilda Swilton to already excited fans and to top it all off, he lets iTunes stream his entire new album, The Next Day for free.

Now, Bowie’s wife, super hot, super model, Iman may have let the cat out of the bag by saying that the family will not be able to join the singer on tour while speaking to Grazia magazine recently.

She was quoted as saying, “We have a 12 year old in school, so we are stuck, we can’t travel. Our schedule is around her, so I don’t know. We’ll have to go visit him, but we won’t be on tour with him because she’s in school” speaking about the duo’s 12-year-old daughter, Alexandria who attends school in New York.

This statement comes on the heels of Bowie’s guitarist, Gerry Leonard, saying that there’s a “50-50 chance” that the singer will ever tour again. But while Leonard says that there might be a chance that a tour is in the future, the singer’s producer, Tony Visconti, ruled out any possibility that the singer would do any live performance to help promote the new album.

Now this begs the question, with all the talk about a possible tour, will Ziggy Stardust himself hit the road again?
